I have experience in proofreading academic and literary texts. As a former student worker at and an aspiring PhD student with a Master’s degree, I have gained extensive practice while editing of my own academic work and also preparing other researchers’ articles for publishing. Through my volunteer work with the university magazine Johnny I additionally gained editing skills of creative texts.

TUTOR LESSONS

I have over 8 years of experience in giving both private and group tutor lessons. Having learned English as a second language, I know the background of the language, including grammar, better than most native speakers.

I have over 15 years of practice in the English language, including over 3 years of living and studying in the United States. I completed my B.A. and M.A. programs and theses entirely in English.

Whether to learn a new language, catch up with class work before graduation, or practice your skills, I want to help you find confidence and fun!

My lessons are tailored to students’ needs while also giving them a solid foundation in a diversity of topics in writing, speech, and reading. I always invite personal interests into our sessions as I firmly believe that a personal connection incites motivation!
